About Us
Little Aa's Play School was founded with a simple conviction: young children learn best when they feel safe, valued, and free to explore. Located on North Travis Street in San Benito, our school offers a home-like setting where the rhythm of the day follows the child — not the other way around.
We believe that the earliest years are not a waiting room for the real work of school. They are the real work. Every puzzle solved, every shared story, every moment of wonder during block play is shaping the way a child thinks, relates, and sees themselves in the world.
Our doors are open to families who want more than custodial care — families who see early education as the foundation upon which everything else is built.
Our Philosophy
Through guided play, children develop language, problem-solving, self-regulation, and social skills — naturally and joyfully.
No two children develop the same way. We meet each child where they are and nurture growth without pressure or comparison.
As a local San Benito school, we honor the families, culture, and values that make our community strong.
Programs
A gentle introduction to group learning. Sensory exploration, language development, and the beginning of social connection in a supervised, affectionate setting.
Structured play that builds pre-literacy, numeracy, and emotional intelligence. Children learn through art, music, storytelling, and collaborative projects.
A confident launch into formal schooling. Focus on reading readiness, independent thinking, classroom routines, and the social skills children need to thrive.

"Finding Little Aa's was the best decision we made for our daughter. The warmth and intentionality here is unlike anything we've seen — she comes home singing and telling us about every new thing she learned."
